Situated 60 meters from the High Street, The Royal Oak is a warm and friendly traditional 17th century inn.

Run by Gary Duffy for almost 20 years he has built up a collection of over 1,000 mugs and jugs which hang from the beams in both bars.

In 2006 it is the only pub in Burford mentioned in The Good Beer Guide.
