    20/05/2015 We have been celebrating this morning following the announcement that our ‘Hop Cycle’ Garden entry in partnership with Sparsholt College in Hampshire has won Gold at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2015!Part of the RHS Discovery zone (an interactive and informative part of The Great Pavilion focusing on plant science and education in a fun and involving way), the garden was also awarded ‘Best RHS Discovery Exhibit’.   • Winchester toasts Landlord and Landlady

    02/04/2015 Over 200 local residents and dignitaries raised their glasses in unison on the 31st March to toast Brid and Derek Phelan, landlord and landlady of the Golden Lion pub, Alresford Road, Winchester as they celebrated the expansion and continued success of the pub. The opening event, whose sponsors Wadworth, Drummond Butchers, Romsey, Brakes Catering and Cormacs catering supplies was a great success with live music including a choir to add to the unique party.     24/03/2015 Wadworth Shire Horses, Max & Monty, started their 2015 season last weekend in winning form at the Shire Horse Society Spring Show at the UK Arena in Grantham. Max was awarded first place out of nine entries in the Single Trade Turnout class on Saturday "He did a great job, he is always calm under pressure" said Head Horseman Martin Whittle.
