Wadworth supporting the community
Wadworth has pledged to support the flood appeal for the Somerset Community Foundation, by donating 5 pence for every pint of Wadworth 6X sold in nominated pubs.Inspired by one of our pubs originally affected, The Rose & Crown in East Lyng, a village totally cut off during the peak of the flooding, it was felt by the company that they had to do something to help." Congratulations to Phil Low from The Barge Inn, Seend Cleeve Wiltshire, following an intense cook-off on 24th February. He saw his ‘venison & duck confit pie’ successfully named the Wadworth Pie of the Year! "We had a fantastic standard of entries this year, in excess of 30, with lots of interesting and inspiring pie innovations using the best of our local and seasonal produce from the South West.
