The George Inn, Sandy Lane, serving wonderful food.

Mark and Harriet are delighted to have taken the tenancy (05/10/11) after being managers here for the last 18 months.

Returning home to family & the beautiful Wiltshire countryside has been the perfect move.

We source locally,from the fantastic produce available around us to create an interesting ever changing menu.

Although not local we use the wonderful Wing of St Mawes for fresh sustainable fish delivered daily to complement our menu.

We aim to offer a relaxed dining experience in a homely environment, with friendly attentive staff.

Our bar area offers an area for all to enjoy and is a great stop after a lovely walk through the Bowood footpaths. (well behaved dogs are very welcome)

The cosy dining room & timber framed conservatory get very busy and its is advisable to book.

We serve our menus throughout the whole day ,so come and enjoy our open fire and wood burning stove on those cold winter afternoons.

Tuesday - Thursday 12noon - 10.30pm

Friday & Saturday 12noon - 11pm

Sunday 12noon - 4pm

Closed Sunday evening & all of Monday (except bank holidays when we open for lunch)
