WADWORTH CELEBRATES BEER DAY BRITAIN WITH A SELFIE COMPETITION

To celebrate Beer Day Britain on Wednesday 15th June 2016, Wadworth, the regional pub operator and family brewer based in Devizes, is going to be holding a selfie competition on Twitter for customers visiting its managed and tenanted pubs to take part in.

To celebrate Beer Day Britain on Wednesday 15th June 2016, Wadworth, the regional pub operator and family brewer based in Devizes, is going to be holding a selfie competition on Twitter for customers visiting its managed and tenanted pubs to take part in.

 

To win a five litre cask of Wadworth ale, all customers have to do is be one of the first 10 people to post a selfie raising a glass of beer to celebrate the day on and after 7pm on Wednesday 15th June. Customers simply tweet a picture using the hashtag #CheersToBeer to @Wadworth; prizes will then be directly delivered to winners straight from the brewery.

 

Business partners keen to take part in the event can request an online banner from Wadworth to use on their Facebook and Twitter pages, put posters up in their pub to encourage customers to Tweet their selfies and add it to their events section on their website or social media pages. Wadworth is available to provide support with all of this marketing activity as required.

 

Emma Cottam, retail marketing manager at Wadworth, said: “This is a great opportunity for our Business Partners to encourage their customers to celebrate the nation’s favourite drink on a day specially dedicated to the tipple. We want our customers to tweet us as they enjoy the day, and what better way to get the ball rolling than rewarding our customers’ commitment with a prize of ale?”
