Introduction

Staple Hill is a suburb of Bristol, situated on the East side of the city close to the M4, M5 and M32. This developing area has a strong community network with appeal to a young demographic seeking a short commute to Bristol city centre, which is just 5 miles from the pub. The Red Lion occupies a prominent roadside position on busy Broad Street, neighboured by a mix of retail and leisure uses.

Sitting in our Community Local segment, the Red Lion is a wet led pub and an ideal first tenancy for an applicant with a strong sense of community and outgoing personality. These key attributes are essential to build a strong bar trade, and market the pub to its full potential. Currently host to local skittles, pool and darts teams, the successful applicant will look to build on existing trade by promoting sporting events and extending opening hours.
