The Royal Standard sits on the Larkhill Road on the outskirts of Yeovil and is a typical neighbourhood local, with pool, darts and skittles.  The pub has recently undergone a refurbishment of the trade area and benefits from a skittle alley and small trade garden to the rear.

Trading Potential 

This pub sits in our “neighbourhood local” segment, and has recently benefitted from a refurbishment of the bar area.  The Royal Standard is a very popular meeting place within the community and is supported by numerous pool, darts and skittles teams.  We may be considering installing a trade kitchen to enable a food offer that is compatible with the outlet.

New Business Partner Profile

This is a fantastic opportunity for a new Business Partner to the industry or a current manager who is wishing to take their career move.  We would ideally be looking for an energetic couple who have the ability immerse themselves in a traditional pub environment, be able to manage and integrate with multiple sports teams.  The ability to produce food that is compatible with the outlet would be a distinct advantage

Trade Areas

The refurbished single bar area to one end the building serves the lounge with comfortable seating for 32, this leads to the pool room which has 2 tables and is host to some top local players.  Through double doors that lead to the skittle alley which can easily double up as a function room, corridor to the rear leads to the customer toilets and beer garden.

It is also our plan to construct a trade kitchen here and introduced a menu that is compatible with the style of operation.
