 This beautiful stone built 16th Century pub is located next to the Minster in the centre of the thriving Medieval town of Ilminster in Somerset.

Ilminster takes it’s name from The River Ile and the Minster church dating back to 1450 is located just off the A303 and is a popular stop off for tourists travelling to the West Country.  It boasts a weekly market, theatre and attractive buildings, streets and shops.

Trade Areas

The trade area is a single central bar, one side laid for dining with 35 covers and a log burning stove, the other side with pool table TVs and large projection screen for sports events with seating for 20.  The trade areas have recently been upgraded along with the customer toilets.  Beer cellar, dry store and fully equipped trade kitchen and wash up are to the rear of the bar.  There are two Twin bedded letting rooms on the first floor with a shared bathroom.

 

External Areas  

 To the front of the pub is seating area with wooden benches, to the rear is a small private courtyard with access to private accommodation and letting rooms.
