TENANTED PUB VACANCY
20 Chock Lane, Westbury on Trym, Bristol BS9 3EX
The Victoria Inn is set in the heart of Westbury on Trym, a village and parish of Clifton with the River Trym flowing through.
The “Vic” has recently had the benefit of a very stylish refurbishment of the trade area and garden and has been entered into the CAMRA good beer guide for the last 15 years. This is a very popular venue in the area to meet up and enjoy our quality cask ales and great standard food offering.
The Victoria Inn sits in our “neighbourhood premium” segment and has recently benefitted from a very stylish refurbishment of the bar and trading area. The current trading split we believe to be 60 / 40 wet to food and is a very much “walk to” site within the local community. Renowned over many years with CAMRA for its excellent delivery of cask ales this compliments the good food offer that is currently available. This is a great opportunity with continued interaction among the local community to enhance the profitability of this site.
New Business Partner Profile
The new Business Partners would ideally be suited to a couple with a great sense of community and willing to engage within a village atmosphere in a suburban area. A good level of catering experience would be an asset here to continue, maintain and extend the potential for lunchtime and evening food sales at this site. A sound knowledge of cask ales and the desire to dispense them to the highest standard will promote repeat business. This is a great opportunity for an existing Business Partner / licensee to progress within the licensed trade to gain further knowledge and experience.
