Newly Refurbished

TENANTED PUB VACANCY

Who'd a thought it

Lockeridge, Marlborough SN8 4EL

Lockeridge is an affluent village in Wiltshire and lies at the edge of West Woods in the Kennet Valley, which boasts to be the largest bluebell wood in the country. Situated 3 miles from Avebury, 3 miles from Marlborough and just 10 miles from Swindon the Who’d a thought it is perfectly situated for visitors to the Marlborough Downs and surrounding areas.

We have recently completely refurbished the trade and outside areas to a very high standard.

Trading Potential

This traditional village pub sits in the heart of the village and is in our “Great pub Great food” segment.  Located between Marlborough, Avebury, Swindon and close to Silbury Hill, this pub is very popular with walkers and visitors to the Marlborough Downs area.  The pub benefits from a large trade garden with a new purpose built children’s play area. We have recently completely refurbished the trade areas in a contempory style, which has not detracted from the original charm of this country pub.

New Business Partner Profile

The new Business Partner here will ideally be an “Owner Chef operator” who is looking to develop their own skills and menu style.  Whilst the food offer here will be very important the pub still needs to serve the local community and become the Hub of the village and its activities.   The ability to develop on an already strong business model by maintaining standards and quality.
