Cask Ale Week is here – an annual celebration of Britain’s national drink: cask beer!
Formed in the early noughties by Cask Marque, this nationwide celebration is supported by leading brewers, pub groups, trade organisations, and of course, The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). It’s all about encouraging people to discover, enjoy, and promote real ale, with pubs and breweries up and down the country hosting events, tastings and activities.
And this year, it feels extra special at Wadworth, as we also raise a glass to 150 years of brewing tradition. With our Anniversary Ale Trail, taster offers in our pubs, and an online shop sale, there’s never been a better time to join in the fun and celebrate the best of quality beer.
The Wadworth 150th Anniversary Ale Trail
We’re marking a century-and-a-half of brewing heritage with a special Ale Trail.
From the iconic Grade II listed Northgate Brewery, to our Folly Road Brewhouse – our home since 2022 – Wadworth has been part of the Devizes community since 1875. That’s 150 years of passion, tradition and dedication to brewing quality cask ale.
Community has always been at the heart of everything we do, and as we look forward, sustainability is key to our future. Real brewing, real pubs, and real impact remain at the core of Wadworth. With more than 140 pubs across the South and West of England, there are plenty of places to stop, sip, and celebrate with us.
