Wadworth’s 150th Anniversary Charity Cycle Ride Begins!

Today marks the official start of our 150th Anniversary Charity Bike Ride, celebrating 150 years since Wadworth was founded in 1875.
This morning, our determined riders set off from The Kings Arms, Fulham, to begin a 150-mile journey over 3 days, finishing at The Riverside Inn, Saltford – just outside Bath. Along the way, they’ll be calling in at some of our fantastic Wadworth pubs, retracing a historic route first completed by our founder, Henry Wadworth, back in 1869.
It’s not just a ride – it’s a tribute to our heritage, a celebration of this milestone anniversary, and above all, an effort to raise vital funds for two incredible charities:
The Charities We’re Supporting
Julia’s House – providing outstanding hospice care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, helping families treasure every moment.
The Licensed Trade Charity – offering emotional, financial, and practical support to people working in pubs, bars, breweries, and beyond.
