The New Business Partners will ideally have the industry knowledge to further develop what is already a solid business.  Catering experience and a passion for maintaining and delivering quality cask ales is important. Ideally the successful applicant will also have knowledge in dealing with letting rooms.

The George Inn is the hub of the community. With low beamed ceilings and wood burning stoves the pub gives a warm ambience. The Business currently operates with a 50 / 50 split of wet and food. There is the benefit of 3 En suite letting rooms, popular with the visitors of the castle next door and Offa’s Dyke.

Internal Areas 

The dining space can seat 60. There is a fully equipped kitchen with walk in fridge and storage rooms, close by is the ground floor cellar. The 3 en-suite letting rooms are accessible via a private entrance at the rear of the pub.

External Areas 

An enclosed courtyard with space for a minimum of 60. You’ll find bench seating at the front of the pub and a car park with 14 spaces at the rear.

A large lounge, kitchenette and 2 double bedrooms both with en suites.
