Wadworth Celebrates 150 Years with a Night to Remember

On Friday 12th September, we came together at The Kings Arms, All Cannings, to mark a major milestone – 150 years of Wadworth.
The evening brought together colleagues from across our pubs, head office, brewery and warehouse, along with our valued business partners and suppliers. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that makes Wadworth special.
Guests enjoyed a packed line-up of entertainment: live music, a roaming brass band, jaw-dropping magic, food trucks, pop-up bars, and of course plenty of Wadworth beer.
One of the standout moments of the night was the flyover from Navy Wings’ Fairey Swordfish – the world’s oldest surviving airworthy aircraft of its kind. This was especially meaningful for us, as every pint of our Swordfish Ale contributes 5p to Navy Wings, helping support the preservation of Britain’s historic naval aircraft.
We also took the chance to recognise excellence across our pubs, presenting awards in a number of categories – congratulations once again to all our winners.
The celebration also included the presentation of Awards, recognising excellence across our pubs in categories including Best Managed Pub, Best Beer Quality, Best Customer Experience, Best Turnaround, Best Newcomer, Best Garden, Best Outside Trading Area, Best Social Media, and Best Website.
Congratulations to all our winners:
Best Managed Pub of the Year 2024 – The Falkland Arms, Great Tew & The Cleveland Bay, Chandler’s Ford
